Woo S, et al. - The diagnostic performance of MRI for the detection of pelvic lymph node (LN) metastasis was reviewed in patients with bladder and prostate cancer. For detecting pelvic LN metastasis, MRI showed high specificity in these patients, however, it indicated poor and heterogeneous sensitivity. Using ultrasmall superparamagnetic particles of iron oxide (USPIO) could improve sensitivity.
