Researchers conducted a retrospective, observational, multicenter, cohort study to assess the dermatoscopic features in a cohort of patients diagnosed with CLE. Moreover, they evaluated their frequency per clinical subtype and compared them with the anatomic alterations. A total of 79 patients were included in the study. The results revealed that distinct dermatoscopic patterns are recognized depending on the CLE subtype. There is a high association between certain dermatoscopic criteria and the underneath anatomic alteration in CLE.
