Sowerby LJ, et al. – A cost analysis of four nasopharyngoscope reprocessing techniques was performed. Findings revealed that a manual accelerated hydrogen peroxide bath provided the least costly approach to nasopharyngoscope reprocessing. However, the convenience and portability of the Tristel Trio (Tristel plc) system might be a good alternative for low reprocessing volumes, or when the rapid turnaround was important.
