Rajasingham R, et al. - Authors aimed to assess the cost-effectiveness of a point-of-care paper transaminase test for monitoring treatment of HIV/tuberculosis (TB) co-infected persons. At its current performance, monthly drug-induced liver injury (DILI) monitoring by bin placement using the paper-based test proved cost-effective, compared to clinical monitoring, in HIV/TB co-infected persons in South Africa.
