Çelik EC, et al. - Researchers assessed the preemptive effects of intravenous (IV) ibuprofen and IV paracetamol on opioid consumption and pain scores after open septorhinoplasty. One hundred and fifty patients who had undergone elective open septorhinoplasty were included in the findings. Compared to paracetamol, ibuprofen has more analgesic effect during first 12 h. But between ibuprofen and paracetamol after first 12 h, there is non-inferiority.
