Joo SY, et al. - The effect and mechanisms of extracorporeal shock wave therapy (ESWT) on burn scar pruritus were examined. This prospective, randomized, single-blind study concluded that ESWT was seen to be a non-invasive modality that significantly reduced burn-associated pruritus.
