Chen Q, et al. - In Henan Province, China, researchers analyzed the data to assess the cancer incidence and associated epidemiological characteristics in children and adolescents. They recorded crude cancer incidence and mortality, 87.56 and 36.32 per million person-years among children aged 0-19 years. They noticed the alteration in the worldwide, age-standardized rates (WSRs) as compared to crude incidence and mortality (87.36 and 35.46 per million person-years, respectively). Predominantly, they found the cancer incidence and mortality in boys among adolescents aged 0-19 years.
