Laguna JJ, et al. - Researchers, herein, investigated the diagnostic value of the basophil activation test (BAT) in a group of patients diagnosed with immediate allergy to omeprazole. For such patients, BAT was discovered to be a complementary tool for inclusion in the allergological workup. Moreover, in combination with skin test, it can serve as a valuable guide to the clinician as to whether to perform a drug provocation test.
