Sridharan ND, et al. – This study aimed at understanding the impact of hemodialysis (HD) access type on health–related quality of life (HRQOL). In this study, HD patients experienced the greatest satisfaction with fistula. An association was observed between access satisfaction and better HRQOL. Controlling for access satisfaction, no significant independent association of access type on HRQOL was noted.
