Eroglu E, et al. - The relationship of serum profilin-1 levels with fatal and non-fatal CVE in a cohort of patients with stage 1-5 chronic kidney disease (CKD) is examined in this study. Researchers came to the conclusion that this is the first study exhibiting that the serum profilin-1 is independently connected with endothelial dysfunction, cardiovascular events and survival in patients with CKD.
