Bores SA, et al. - Researchers designed this study to assess the association between the amount of prehospital IV fluid (IVF) administered and mortality. In this study, patients who did or did not receive prehospital IVF after penetrating trauma showed no significant difference in terms of mortality or Emergency Medical Services call time.
