Pan F, et al. - The relationship of knee structural abnormalities with different patterns of pain is explored in this study. The current study proposes that mechanisms mediating the relationship between structural pathology, localized, and generalized pain may be different, and central sensitization is possibly involved in generalized pain. In the management and treatment of OA-related pain, pain at other sites should be considered.
