Chen YC, et al. - The association between administration of sodium bicarbonate in the Emergency Department (ED) setting and outcomes of out-of-hospital cardiac arrest (OHCA) patients was determined. Administration of sodium bicarbonate was associated with a higher rate of survival to hospital admission in OHCA patients.
