Wong PD, et al. - Herein, the authors probed into the correlation between breastfeeding duration and early childhood cardiometabolic risk. The results exhibited a connection between breastfeeding duration with lower cardiometabolic risk, despite a small magnitude of association. Causation could not be inferred. It was disclosed that breastfeeding beyond 24 months could not present with an added benefit for cardiometabolic health.
