The association between thyroid disorders and incident gout: Population-based case–control study

Bruderer SG, et al. – The purpose of this case–control study was to examine the association between thyroid disorders and incident of gout. Investigations do not provide evidence that hypothyroidism or hyperthyroidism, irrespective of treatment, was associated with a clinically relevant increased risk of developing incident gout.
