Abajobir AA, et al. – This prospective investigation aimed to determine the relationship between substantiated childhood maltreatment, asthma and lung function. The results of this study showed that childhood maltreatment, including emotional abuse, was correlated with lifetime ever asthma. More research is indicated on the impact of childhood maltreatment on lung function using objective measures.
