Gynecologic Oncology | Apr 04, 2018
Charakorn C, et al. - The association effects of serum squamous cell carcinoma antigen (SCC-Ag) on recurrence and mortality in mainly squamous cell cervical cancer patients were investigated via analyzing data from relevant studies from MEDLINE and Scopus databases. This analysis included a total of 61 studies. A consistent association of serum SCC-Ag with recurrence and mortality of newly diagnosed cervical cancer was shown. This marker may be useful in monitoring disease progression in cervical cancer patients.
