The association between progesterone receptor expression and survival in women with adult granulosa cell tumors
Gynecologic Oncology Jan 25, 2019
Puechl AM, et al. - In this multicenter retrospective analysis of granulosa cell tumors (GCT) cases between 1989 and 2012, researchers assessed the association of estrogen receptors (ER) and progesterone receptors (PR) expression patterns and their clinical outcomes in females with GCT. They observed ER and PR expression in 52% and 98% of subjects, respectively. They recorded a strong association of PR composite score >9 with reduced recurrence-free survival and overall survival in univariate analysis whereas ER composite score was not considered an important predictor of either survival measure.
