Wong CKH, et al. - The authors conducted this population-based retrospective cohort study to investigate whether temporal trends exist in the treatment of patients with type 2 diabetes (T2D) and quality of diabetes care after implementation of quality improvement initiative in primary care setting. In the past 5 years, quality of diabetes care improved significantly coinciding with the implementation of quality improvement initiative, in part attributable to benefits of integrated multidisciplinary diabetes management.
