Fernandez VG, et al. - Given the robust nature of temporal structural abnormalities in schizophrenia, researchers here investigated the relation of temporal lobe cortical thickness with verbal memory in first-degree relatives. Findings indicated that temporal lobe thickness could represent a structural correlate for encoding verbal information in unaffected relatives of individuals with schizophrenia.
