The Journal of Pediatrics Dec 18, 2017
Droz N, et al. - The purpose of this study was to investigate if the seasonal distribution of Kingella kingae (K kingae) osteoarticular infections was similar to that of common respiratory viruses. The findings divulged a prominent link between human rhinovirus (HRV) circulation and K kingae osteoarticular infection. This data strengthened the assumption of a role of viral infections in the pathophysiology of K kingae invasive infection.
