Tablet technology in medical education in South Africa: A mixed methods study

Lazarus L, et al. – This study aimed at illustrating the utility of mobile devices by learners at a selected medical school. Mobile devices were adopted by learners at the study university. Uses of technology presented in this research were associated with Eraut's intentions of informal learning. Integrating tablets into classes brought about a positive impact on the students' access to course material.
