Stewart AJ, et al. - The experts conducted this research for the purpose of describing the nature and prevalence of dysphagia after slide tracheoplasty for long segment congenital tracheal stenosis. In the pediatric population, they found a high prevalence of postoperative dysphagia after slide tracheoplasty. Before the surgery, there was no history suggestive of dysphagia.
