Ong TK, et al. - This trial involved the determination of the overall survival of a consecutive series of patients. It also resolved to associate the survival with clinical and pathological factors. The overall survival was somewhat better than the 56% five-year survival reported for oral cancer in England in 2010. This finding could be a reflection of the therapy. This study validated the opinion that aggressive management could improve the overall survival.
