Li Z, et al. - This trial was designed in order to evaluate the surgical outcomes of individuals with cervicothoracic junction (CTJ) metastases. Authors also assessed the prognostic factors for the postoperative survival. In patients with CTJ metastases, surgical treatment was found to be effective displaying a tolerable rate of complications. Overall survival was predicted by the remained or regained ambulatory status. Hence, prompt and aggressive decompressive surgery was advised in CTJ metastases patients with neurological impairment.
