Spinelli G, et al. - Herein, the treatment and outcomes of pediatric patients with chronic cervical lymphadenitis were reviewed for the better understanding of their differential diagnosis, surgical indication, complication, and recovery. Surgery was noted to be the treatment of choice in cases of non-tuberculous mycobacteria lymphadenitis, and it was closely related to a favorable prognosis. In 97.7% of patients, recovery was ensured by complete excisional biopsy compared with the non-excisional surgical group 88.2%.
