Corfield J, et al. - Researchers undertook an appraisal of the 68Ga-prostate specific membrane antigen (PSMA) positron emission tomography (PET) used for the primary staging of high-risk prostate cancer. Evidence was obtained with regard to the ability of 68Ga-PSMA PET to detect malignant lesions. Increased detection rates were brought to light. Findings unveiled that 68Ga-PSMA PET outperformed the traditional imaging modalities.
