Tateno M, et al. – The focus of the presented study was to examine suicidal ideation and burnout among Japanese psychiatric trainees as a part of the Burnout Syndrome Study (BoSS) International. The data presented in this work showed a higher risk of suicide among Japanese residents. The authors suggested that early detection of, and appropriate intervention for, suicidal ideation is important in preventing suicide in psychiatry residents.
