Doghaim NN, et al. - The experts evaluated the clinical effectiveness and safety of carboxytherapy in alopecia areata (AA) and androgenetic alopecia (AGA). For patchy AA, carboxytherapy seemed to be a promising therapeutic option. In cases of AGA, carboxytherapy could be useful as an adjuvant therapy, however, more than 6 sessions were required and adjuvants were recommended for maintenance of the results.
