Stereotactic EEG-guided laser interstitial thermal therapy for mesial temporal lobe epilepsy

Journal of Neurology, Neurosurgery & Psychiatry Dec 03, 2017

For mTLE with mesial temporal sclerosis (MTS), MRI-guided LITT was a safe and effective alternative to selective amygdalohippocampectomy and anterior temporal lobectomy. Although, its efficacy in those without MTS seemed modest.
