Bang JY, et al. - A comparative assessment was conducted of the endoscopic ultrasound-guided transmural biliary drainage (EUS-BD) and endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatogram (ERCP) as primary treatment for distal biliary obstruction in pancreatic cancer. Findings exhibited that EUS-BD was a practical alternative to ERCP for primary biliary decompression in pancreatic cancer due to the similar rates of adverse events and treatment outcomes.
