Li X, et al. - Researchers assessed patients between July 2015 to October 2016 in order to examine the status of lipids and lipoprotein in female breast cancer patients at initial diagnosis and during chemotherapy. Compared to normal populations, breast cancer patients had a lower frequency of dyslipidemia. Nonetheless, after chemotherapy, dyslipidemia seemed to worsen. Lipid monitoring and dyslipidemia prevention and treatment for breast cancer patients at initial diagnosis and during chemotherapy is recommended.
