Compared to normal populations, breast cancer patients had a lower frequency of dyslipidemia. Nonetheless, after chemotherapy, dyslipidemia seemed to worsen. Lipid monitoring and dyslipidemia prevention and treatment for breast cancer patients at initial diagnosis and during chemotherapy is recommended.
