Mather JF, et al. – This study investigated the link between statin use and delirium risk in hospitalized patients with an admission to the medical ICU. In these subjects, the delirium risk was found to be attenuated in relation to independent use of statins. This reduction was significant in patients using atorvastatin, pravastatin, and simvastatin.
