Sun X, et al. - This trial was conducted in order to assess the efficacy of oral spironolactone in patients with acute central serous chorioretinopathy (CSC). When compared to observations, oral spironolactone was discovered to be more effective with a faster absorption of subretinal fluid (SRF). Hence, it served as a promising treatment for acute CSC.
