Matoso A, et al. - Experts intended to elucidate the changes seen in gonads from individuals seeking male to female physical adaptation by analyzing orchiectomies from 50 subjects. Findings reported decreased diameter of seminiferous tubules and expansion of the interstitium along with notable hypoplasia of germ cells. Rare cytomegaly and hypoplasia or absence of Leydig cell with epididymal hyperplasia were also observed during this study.
