Auris Nasus Larynx Mar 22, 2018
Aslier NGY, et al. - In order to assess the sound energy absorbance characteristics of cartilage grafts in patients, who underwent type 1 cartilage tympanoplasty this case-control study was conducted. In hearing thresholds, no differences were observed. The course of sound energy absorbance was affected by graft material, graft thickness, cartilage surface area ratio and elapsed time after surgery after type 1 cartilage tympanoplasty as evidenced by wideband tympanometry.
