Dagan A, et al. – This research determined whether or not the sodium phosphate enemas worsened the renal function in hospitalized patients. It was illustrated that the application of sodium phosphate enemas did not seem to worsen mild to moderate renal failure. It was not related to hyperphosphatemia or hyperkalemia in the study cohort.
