Boudet–Berquier J, et al. – This study is conducted to identify sociodemographic factors and maternal and neonatal outcomes related to pre–pregnancy obesity, and authors tested the impact modification of parity on these associations. The outcome of this study suggests obesity before pregnancy is related to a set of sociodemographic characteristics and adverse pregnancy outcomes that differ across parity groups. Such outcomes are helpful for targeted health policies aimed at attaining healthy pre–pregnancy weight and organizing perinatal care.
