Ronka S, et al. - This study incorporated an assessment of the link between social determinants and a wide selection of drug-related deaths in a general cohort. A correlation was established amongst drug-related mortality with social disadvantage. Nonetheless, variation was noted in the strength of the correlation by drug-related cause of death. It was recommended that the primary and secondary prevention of drug use ought to focus on the disadvantaged groups.
