Cottam S, et al. - Researchers sought to assess the variables that correlate with sleeve gastrectomy weight loss by performing a literature search finding studies that reported the variables. They identified 48 articles that covered 36 different factors predictive of weight loss while only including five predictive models. They were unable to conclude with the factors that predict weight loss following sleeve gastrectomy (SG) due to the inconsistency in reporting and the methodological flaws in analysis.
