European Journal of Paediatric Neurology Feb 28, 2018
Brockmann PE, et al. - This study was initiated in order to gauge the spindle activity as possible markers for neurocognitive consequences in children with mild obstructive sleep apnea. A varied pattern of sleep spindle activity was illustrated among children with mild OSA which was possibly related to neurocognitive performance, especially concerning memory. It was determined that sleep spindle activity could be involved with mechanisms associated with the neurocognitive consequences in such children.
