Pederson CL, et al. – This study strived to examine the prevalence of suicidal ideation in a relationship with symptoms of sleep disruption in people with postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS). Compared with the general population, patients with POTS could suffer from increased sleep disturbance and suicidal ideation. For POTS patients, treatment to improve sleep efficiency and sleep quality was an important step toward a better quality of life.
