Wu YT, et al. – In a study population with mild–to–moderate carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS), researchers tested the 6–month efficacy of ultrasound–guided perineural injection therapy (PIT) using 5% dextrose (D5W). They reported that as a treatment option for patients with mild–to–moderate CTS, ultrasound–guided PIT with D5W displayed effectiveness.
