Single-leg squats can predict leg alignment in dancers performing ballet movements in “turnout”

Hopper LS, et al. – The ability of the traditional single–leg squat was comprehensively assessed to speculate the leg alignment of dancers performing ballet movements with turnout. It was inferred that the single–leg squat could speculate leg alignment in dancers performing ballet movements, even in “turned out” postures. The data recommended that clinicians ought to pay careful attention to observational positioning and rating criteria while examining the dancers performing the single–leg squat.
