Jing Z, et al. - Experts evaluated the impact and safety of single balloon vs double balloon bipedicular kyphoplasty in vertebral compression fractures (VCFs). Findings demonstrated that in improving clinical symptoms, deformity and complications of VCFs a similar safety and efficacy of single balloon bipedicular kyphoplasty and double balloon bipedicular kyphoplasty were seen but the former was not so expensive as the later. The VAS, angle and vertebral height of patients suffering from VCFs could be significantly improved with the single balloon.
