Simulation of growth trajectories of childhood obesity into adulthood

Ward ZJ, et al. - The intention of the authors was to formulate a simulation model in order to compute the risk of adult obesity at the age of 35 years for the current population of children in the United States. The simulation models disclosed that childhood obesity and overweight persisted as a major health problem in the United States. Early development of obesity was found to speculate obesity in adulthood, particularly for children who were severely obese.
