Ohkoshi A, et al. - During this research, experts elucidated a new laryngeal suspension procedure and contemplated the effect of the suspension of the hyoid bone by suturing the digastric muscle to the mandibular periosteum in patients who underwent ipsilateral neck dissection with primary resection of tongue cancer. As per the outcomes, the suturing of the digastric muscle to the periosteum of the mandible in the dissection of the neck with primary resection of tongue cancer led to the hyoid bone suspension. It could be beneficial for the laryngeal suspension.
