Similarities in smell and taste preferences in couples increase with relationship duration

Groyecka A, et al. - This study investigated the impact of duration of togetherness on the degree of similarities in smell and taste preferences in heterosexual couples. The longer the duration of the relationship, the more similar couples were in terms of both taste and smell preferences. Also, relationship satisfaction was found to be negatively associated with congruence in smell preferences between partners.
