McDermott S, et al. - In order to assess suspected pulmonary embolism in pregnant and postpartum patients, the authors compared single-energy (SE) and dual-energy (DE) computed tomography pulmonary angiography (CTPA). Compared with SE-CTPA, dual-energy CTPA substantially increased arterial enhancement for evaluation of pulmonary embolism in pregnant and postpartum women.
