Short- to mid-term outcomes of anatomic MCL reconstruction with Achilles tendon allograft after multiligament knee injury
Knee Surgery, Sports Traumatology, Arthroscopy Feb 28, 2018
Barrett IJ, et al. - Researchers herein focused on the functional outcome, range of motion, and knee stability after anatomic MCL reconstruction utilizing an Achilles tendon bone allograft following multiligament knee injury. MCL reconstruction utilizing a modified Marx Achilles tendon resulted in satisfactory clinical and functional outcomes, as well as patient satisfaction at short- to mid-term follow-up. Also, it was noted that knee dislocation grades correlated with post-operative IKDC, Knee injury and Osteoarthritis Outcome Score (KOOS), and Marx scores.
